| Educational Qualification :- | (a) Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) OR B.Sc. Nursing OR Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. (b) Having registration under Tripura Nursing Council as Registered Nurse & Registered Midwife (RNRM). Desirable : Knowledge in Bengali or Kokborok. |
| Selection procedure :- | Selection of candidate will be made on the criteria 50 percent from API and 50 percent from interview/viva voce. Top API scored candidates, in the ratio of 1:3 (i.e. three candidates for one vacancy) will call for interview/viva voce. |

Other information :-
- The candidates, who are having PRTC, Certificate of Registration of Tripura Nursing
Council (RNRM), Employment Exchange Card and requisite qualification as
mentioned above, are eligible to apply for engagement.
2. The engagement is purely contract basis for a period of 11 (eleven) months and will
not confer any right for permanent employment or extension of contact period.
3. The engagement is liable to be terminated at any time without assigning any
reason thereof with 1 (one) month’s notice from either side. The department,
however, reserves the right to terminate the contractual engagement forthwith or
before the expiration of the stipulated period of notice.
4. The engagement carries the liability to serve at any part of the State of Tripura.
5. The relevant rules and orders in force from time to time will govern the other
condition of engagement.
Admissibility of leave :-
Contractual Nursing Officers will admissible for 12 (twelve) days Casual Leave and 10
(ten) days Commuted Leave (on medical ground) during the tenure of engagement for
eleventh months. Any leave exceeding these periods will be treated as leave without
pay.
